These yoga holiday retreats take place at a Portuguese colonial house with old world charm. Its hillside setting overlooks a lush landscape of pine and eucalyptus trees and from the pool your eyes wander into the distance and down the valley. There are sun loungers or hammock reading hideouts as well. The purpose of Justine’s retreats is so you can recharge yourself in a relaxed setting. Take a bit of time out for self care and mindfully, through yoga, feel more healthy and joyful. During the week you will notice the changes in your physical and emotional body and will gain clarity in your mental body. Whilst you are here you may have a remedial massage to gain insight into where you hold tension, then Justine will show you various yoga poses specifically tailored for your body. The daily yoga; the morning is an energetic practice of hatha vinyasa flow and the afternoon a fusion of gentle yoga with restorative relaxation techniques all therapeutically applied. The yoga sessions are specifically designed to help you feel more of who you really are away from the complexity of modern life. There is something for everyone and all abilities. Great thought has been put into making these retreats a really enjoyable way to help you return to feeling whole again. There is plenty of free time and a picnic day out at a stunning natural river beach. For the adventurous there is some safe and rejuvenating wild swimming. The combination of yoga and fun is why Justine likes to call these weeks a holiday retreat. Well structured yoga meets thoughtfully arranged leisure with a maximum of six for the best dynamic. You will have a bedroom to yourself and your transfer from Lisbon airport is included so all stress stops on arrival. Quality mats, blocks, bricks, blankets, bolsters and straps are provided. Toiletries are included in the bathrooms so expert packers can come with just hand luggage. Justine looks forward to sharing this amazing part of Portugal with you, giving you a genuine authentic yoga experience and to having some fun in the sun!
